The Green Economy Awards celebrate the pioneers of Britain’s brave new green economy. The awards recognise excellence in environmental responsibility, reconfiguration of business models around sustainability principles, and the unsung heroes of the environmental services industry. They are the UK’s most comprehensive awards on the subject.
With categories for sectors such as sustainability, green data, compliance, sustainability partnership, compliance, business, specialist, energy and politics these are the awards for the green economy.
Finalists included Sainsburys, Dell UK, the Cooperative Group, Amey….
Department of Energy and Climate Change
It was great just to make the finals. Our category, Energy Efficiency, was sponsored by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, so it was an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of our company. But to actually win the award was more than I could have hoped for, and really pleasing that the problem of heat loss up chimneys is finally being noticed.
ENDS Green Economy Awards – We’re a winner
The judges considered the company to be a clear winner in its category of Energy Efficiency. In a world of high-tech devices and “Eco-bling”, they were pleased to see such a simple and effective solution to a problem that is largely un-addressed.
